position Summary:
This is a training position for the purpose of developing the skills to direct and manage the overall operations of an independent living housing community. The training will include, but will not be limited to quality service, physical plant maintenance, and financial targets. The E.D.I.T. may be assigned areas of responsibility in resident relations, human resources, communications, financial management, marketing, operations, planning, building and grounds maintenance, administration, quality assurance, and compliance with HUD regulations.
Position Responsibilities include:
The starting salary for this position ranges from $24.00 to $26.00/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, or work experience of the type and duration that would qualify the person to work with elderly persons.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position requires effective verbal and literary communication skills to interact with all levels of management, other employees and outside contacts; requires effective managerial and inter-personal skills; requires excellent fiscal and budgetary skills and the ability to plan, organize, and implement work and be flexible enough to shift priorities quickly.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton’s post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen.
