The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Manager with a strong background in the insurance domain and extensive knowledge of traditional ETL tools. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of data warehousing architecture and hands-on experience with various ETL tools, including Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, SAP BODS, and Talend.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Guidewire implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop and implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, SAP BODS, and Talend.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-11 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong background in the insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, SAP BODS, and Talend.
• Excellent understanding of data warehousing architecture and best practices.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience with Guidewire implementation projects.
• Knowledge of additional ETL tools and technologies.
• Certification in relevant ETL tools or data warehousing technologies.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good exposure to any ETL tools.
• Good to have knowledge about Life insurance.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Data Modelling.
• Must have led a team size of at least 4 members.
• Experience in Insurance domain
• Prior Client facing skills, Self-motivated and collaborative
