• 3- 5 years’ work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment.

position Summary

• The Senior Test Technician position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.

Job Description:

• Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
• Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects
• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

Physical Requirements:

• Use hand tools, and power tools.
• Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
• Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read schematics and understand the circuit function.
• Perform troubleshooting of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level
• Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to set up and utilize manual and automated test equipment to conduct test and troubleshooting of digital and analog circuitry
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Must be computer literate.

education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3- 5 years’ work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment or completed OJT training for at least 10 products
