Fabric Receiver

Receive rolls of fabric that come in from fabric vendors into inventory. Rolls come in boxed, bagged, and/or palletized and are brought to the custom fabric receiver to be received. Fabric receiver must then apply the correct purchase order number to the correct roll. Once received, it is given to the fabric measurers.

1. Receive customer order fabrics as the correct C fabric number and apply it to the correct purchase order.
2. After cut yardage roll is received, these rolls must be bagged and tagged for shipping.
3. Custom fabric for upholstery is sent to measurers.
4. Responsible for maintenance of receipt records.
5. Must be able to see and judge shade variation to ensure dye lot match for acknowledgments.
6. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate verbally and written
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
• Lift 50lbs
• Ability to learn the use of staple gun and panel press
• Good computer skills, microsoft office
