Position:

Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Primary Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

• Responsible for assisting the Facilities Director for maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing or electrical servicing of the clubhouse, facilities including the pool.
• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Cleans, stocks, and maintains clubhouse.
• Limited responsibility for HVAC systems in clubhouse and facilities.
• Performs various other tasks associated clubhouse maintenance.
• Active communication with vendors.
• Consistently practicing effective/safe work habits and environments.
• Addressing and eliminating safety hazards in a timely and effective manner.
• Communicates and reports directly to the Facilities Director.

Role Includes:

• Might be required to work some late evenings and early mornings including holidays and weekends.
• Non-Exempt position (Hourly wage) $20-$22 per hour

The major responsibility in this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of clubhouse repair and maintenance. This person will need to have strong speaking, reading and writing skills, for effective communication throughout the operation. The majority of time is spent organizing clubhouse and facilities maintenance repairs.

This person will occasionally assist in carrying heavy items requiring lifting of up to 70 pounds.
