We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team . This role offers a competitive hourly rate, company vehicle, and gas card, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial building systems, and will be confident working across multiple trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Must have EPA and commercial experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and monitor repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure facilities meet applicable standards.
• Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper operation of building systems.
• Oversee facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance.
• Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems and related equipment at peak performance.
• Record readings and adjust systems as needed for optimal operation.
• Safely store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with departmental policy.
• Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
• Monitor quality and cost of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, promote safe work practices, and recognize and resolve safety hazards.
• Ensure good housekeeping and organization of all work areas.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial building maintenance and repair.
• Skilled in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification (required).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• EPA Universal required, if not would need to get it within 60 days of FTE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Two years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
• Experience with multi-facility maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.

Pay Details: $32.00 per hour
