Morson Talent are hring a Facilities Manager for our Aerospace client based in Filton, Bristol.The Facilities Manager will functionally report directly to the UK Head of General Services and operationally to the General Services Lead for Filton & Newport.The successful candidate will be required to support the Soft Services Lead in representation at transversal MFT’s that will define the strategies and best practices across the four regions (France, Germany, Spain and UK).Specific scope of activities will be the support of management of General Services in line with company objectives.Operationally, the position holder will deliver directly or support the operational services that enable our sites and plants to operate in cooperation with Internal and External partners to improve service delivery ensuring delivery on time, quality and cost:– Graphics & Multimedia Administration– Catering Services & Restaurants– Cleaning Services – Waste Management– Grounds Management– Transportation Services– Documentation Archiving and Library Management– Mailroom Services Support through Administration of Purchase orders, Requisitions and Invoicing would also be a part of the role.Their scope of activities will be to meet the changing needs of our business and alignment with annual budgeting, investment requirements and audits.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.– Responsible for supporting General (Soft) Services ensuring any compliance, service delivery and site adherence.– Supporting management of the variety of Service Providers, working alongside other General Services teams to the agreed KPIs in line with contractual obligations and process and procedures– Budget Management- supporting annual Opex targets with management of risk.– Attendance at custodian reviews / customer meetings to ensure communication of activities, obtain feedback and implement necessary actions when required– Supporting representation of the UK in transnational activities within General Services scope of activities in defining the transnational strategy.RequirementsAbility to manage workload with agility and deliver to deadlines.– Health and Safety awareness and interest.– Competent in working to the requirements of processes and procedures.– Financial Management – awareness of Procurement/Purchasing and Tender Processes and processes is advantageous.– Stakeholder management experience– Ability to work autonomously where required– Experience of Facility Management or our FM Deliverables would be advantageous– Experience working with suppliers who provide cleaning, catering and maintenance to sites– Someone used to industrial and office building sites – need to have experience with large organisations– Experienced with managing suppliers and deliveries on a large scale– Clean room/pharmaceutical experience an advantageRates: Up to £40.00 per hour Umbrella depending on experience / Up to £30.23 + £4.39 Hoilday Pay per hour PAYE depending on experience.Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Contract – 6 Months (Possible Extensions)
