This Facilities Program/Project Manager position will report to the Facilities Operations group at Seagate’s manufacturing site in Bloomington, MN. This position will be on-site Monday-Friday with daytime hours. You will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that provide lasting value to the Facilities Department and Seagate.
The Facilities Program/Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of service contracts that support workplace operations and employee experience. This role ensures that contracted services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements. The manager will serve as the primary liaison between vendors, internal stakeholders, and facilities leadership.
Contract Management & Oversight, administer and manage contracts for the following services:
- Food Service (Cafeteria, Vending, Office Coffee)
- Interior Plant Care
- Fitness Center Operations
- Site Reproduction Services
- Cellular Phone Services
- Janitorial Services
- Shredding Services
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of service delivery and compliance.
Project & Program Leadership
- Lead initiatives to improve service quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for service transitions, upgrades, or expansions.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the point of contact for internal departments regarding service needs and escalations.
- Facilitate regular communication between vendors and internal teams.
- Gather feedback and implement improvements based on user experience.
Financial & Operational Management
- Track and manage budgets related to service contracts.
- Support procurement processes including RFPs, contract renewals, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple service vendors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives in facilities services.
- Familiarity with workplace wellness and employee experience programs.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Facilities Management (FMP, CFM) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
