Job Overview:

Linde Services Inc. is currently seeking a safety and results driven individual to become our Facilities Superintendent located in La Porte, TX . This individual has expert knowledge of principles and practices within operations, and an understanding of business strategies and culture, and works to achieve results and drive performance on a location/regional basis.

Scope: 

The Facilities Superintendent will handle the full responsibilities and activities of the location/district to fulfill business and customer requirements. Supervise employee and operational performance; meet established quality, productivity and cost objectives while ensuring adherence to safety and compliance programs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Accountable for managing the day-to-day operations including employee scheduling, product management, maintenance and productivity while promoting safety.
• Implement and comply to policies, procedures and senior management’s direction related to the business plan.
• Assignments are defined in terms of activities or objectives and work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Provide leadership to their team, mentor, and support development of the employees.
• Anticipates problems and assists with developing contingencies.
• Problem solver in fast paced business.
• Regularly interacts with subordinates and middle management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Candidate should possess strong working knowledge, literacy and demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience managing and leading a team.
• A minimum of 5+ years of successfully leading Operations in similar industry.
• Travel: 30-50%
