A Day in the Life: Facilities Technician

We are looking for a “work-with-their- hands” type who loves being able to fix things and think outside of the box to maintain a safe and clean workplace. Feeling bored will never be an issue because this job will keep you on your toes! It will also provide the perfect opportunity to start your day early with an 8AM-5PM work schedule! Daily tasks will range from landscaping to trash removal to helping prepare lunch and everything in between! Having some handy skills such as painting and plumbing knowledge won’t hurt either! Job Requirements: Is This You?

• Patience and good communication skills required.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history are required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Ability to remain standing / walking a minimum of 90% of the scheduled workday.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and greater.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Understanding of general mechanical skills such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and the operation of hand tools and power tools, preferred.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions to ensure outside maintenance is complete.
• Reliable transportation in inclement weather.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours and off hours, as needed.
• Knowledgeable in safety regulations.
• Be OSHA certified or enroll in and pass the OSHA 10-hour courses and ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Desire to work as part of a Team.
• Commitment to personal development and growth.
