What this job involves –

Facilities Technician -Entry Level

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn about building maintenance. As an Entry-Level Facilities Technician, you’ll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and improving our building’s functionality, appearance, and safety. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over extensive experience.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Assisting with basic building repairs and maintenance tasks
• Helping with painting interior and exterior surfaces
• Performing simple plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains
• Changing light bulbs and assisting with basic electrical work under supervision
• Moving furniture and equipment as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Learning to use various tools and equipment safely
• Assisting experienced technicians with more complex tasks
• Responding to and completing work orders in a timely manner

Desired experience and technical skills –

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders safely
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment
• Reliability and punctuality
• Customer service orientation

Preferred:

• Some experience or interest in building maintenance, construction, or related fields
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)

On-site -Odessa, TX
