Join Columbia Distributing as a Facility Maintenance Technician!
In this hands-on role, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our Canby and Wilsonville facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, support warehouse and production teams, and help keep our facilities running smoothly every day.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform/oversee/track preventative maintenance and repair of facility/key equipment to include electric, plumbing, HVAC systems, building construction and janitorial services
- Oversee maintenance of grounds including sprinkler systems, storm water treatments and landscaping
- Repair, oversee equipment repairs and maintenance including pallet wrap machines, conveyor, battery chargers, dock levelers, overhead doors (manual and power), racking systems and system compressors
- Utilize and work with outside vendors on all major electrical and mechanical equipment, janitorial and grounds maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment per state’s safety and health laws (Occupational Safety and Health Administration-OSHA and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act-WISHA)
- Participate in the monthly safety committee meetings
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with through your job
- Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

Work will be performed mostly indoors and outdoors, when necessary.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days/hours of work vary and may include weekends.
Travel
None
Required education and experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Maintain a valid driver license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum three (3) years of facility maintenance experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in fabrication, welding, fiberglass and sheet metal repair
- Operate forklift and warehouse sled
Compensation
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
