Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify potential issues and resolve them before they escalate.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions promptly.
  • Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and equipment failures, minimizing disruption.
  • Operate and maintain various tools and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and preventive tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments on facility improvement projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Assist in procurement of materials needed for maintenance activities.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in an industrial or facility setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance.
  • Physical ability to lift, climb, stand, and work in various physical conditions.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Other Important Qualifications:

  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and perform other manual tasks.
  • Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various physical activities.
