Indiana University Kelley School of Business Indianapolis invites applications for a position in marketing as a tenured Associate or Full Professor or advanced Assistant Professor level with a start date no later than August 1, 2026.

Appointment rank will be dependent on qualifications and research history. Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. from an accredited institution, have excellent research and teaching skills, and must have demonstrated the ability to produce scholarly work at the highest level. Marketing faculty teach in graduate and/or undergraduate programs.

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in Business or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution, evidence of a high level of scholarship or the potential to establish a strong scholarly record, and evidence of teaching excellence. Extensive publication in top-tier refereed journals as well as evidence of the ability to mentor junior faculty are requirements for applicants applying for a senior tenure-track appointment.

Qualified applicants should electronically submit their cover letter of Application, a curriculum vita, evidence of teaching ability, and a list of three references. The committee will begin reviewing applications November 1, 2025, and applications will continue to be reviewed until the position is filled.

Before a conditional offer of employment with tenure is finalized, candidates will be asked to disclose any pending investigations or previous findings of sexual or professional misconduct. They will also be required to authorize an inquiry by Indiana University Indianapolis with all current and former employers along these lines. The relevance of information disclosed or ascertained in the context of this process to a candidate’s eligibility for hire will be evaluated by Indiana University Indianapolis on a case-by-case basis.
