The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a human service-related field, including social work, clinical counseling, and/or psychology, is required.
• A 1-year clinical internship is required.
• The position requires a minimum weekly availability of 20 hours, working with adults, children, and adolescents, with the capacity to provide billable services to 15-20 clients per week.

We are seeking an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for our Sharon Hill Clinic in Delaware County, PA.

Earn $35 or $38/hr.!

Position Details

The therapist is a primary member of the treatment team in Merakey’s clinic behavioral health program. Essential responsibilities include the delivery of therapy services and the coordination of care under the leadership of the clinic director, psychiatrist, and clinical supervisor. The therapist provides active engagement of clients, promotes retention, and provides therapy to individuals who suffer from mild to severe forms of mental illness.

Merakey Mental Health Outpatient (MHOP) offers a billable service bonus system, licensure supervision opportunities, and Evidence-Based Practice Training/Certifications for eligible Fee for Service Staff.

Merakey Mental Health Outpatient (MHOP) offers:

• A bonus system that allows therapists to earn up to an additional $300 per month
• Licensure supervision opportunities
• Evidence-Based Practice Training/Certifications for eligible therapists for:
• Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)
• Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT)
