<div class="isg-job-description“>Job summary:  Erect and repair fences and fence gates using hand and power tools. 
Primary responsibilities: 

• Establish fence location and gather information needed to ensure no electric cables or water lines in the are
• Determine appropriate locations for operations or installations
• Align posts using lines or by sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts using plumb bobs or spirit levels

• Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications.
• Dig postholes using spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers.
• Set metal or wooden posts in upright positions in postholes.
• Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts or tamp soil into postholes to embed posts.
• Nail top and bottom rails to fence posts or insert them in slots on posts.
• Stretch wire, wire mesh, or chain link fencing between posts and attach to frames.
• Attach fence rail supports to posts.
• Assemble gates and fasten into position.
• Weld when necessary.
• Nail pointed slats to rails to construct picket fences.
• Construct and repair barriers and other types of fences, walls, and gates.
• Other responsibilities as directed or assigned.

Position Specifications:

Minimum education – Certification or related experience.

Minimum Experience – 2 – 5 years’ industry experience years preferred

Supervision Level – Reports to Project Managers and direct supervisor of installers
Pay range:  $22.00 – 26.00 depending on experience
