Filler Operator – 2nd shift

Shift: Monday – Saturday approx; 5-6 days a week

Time: 2PM -10:30PM

SUMMARY

Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as feeding, filling, marking, labeling, and sealing packaging by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.

Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers.

Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.

Monitors product going to casing and monitors product count.

Replenishes packaging supplies such as cartons, ink or labels.

Cleans work area using proper cleaning procedures.
