HMP & YOI Bronzefield is the largest women’s prison in Europe which accommodates a diverse and complex population of women from restricted Status women who require the highest levels of security, women on remand (Who are often experiencing custody for the first time), as well as supporting women with chronic mental health conditions.

Main Responsibilities
- Support Leadership: Assist the Head of Business Management in driving the finance department forward, ensuring the delivery of top-quality services while meeting demanding targets.
- Effective Work Management: Demonstrate commitment and the ability to manage tasks efficiently, adhering to required standards.
- Administrative Duties: Perform a variety of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department, providing essential services to the entire prison.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets and respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Strong organisational skill with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a finance and or prison environment is desirable along with any relevant administrative or finance qualifications.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Desirable
- Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Starter: Be proactive with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- IT Proficiency: Demonstrate strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail and manage your workload under pressure.
- Deadline-Oriented: Work effectively to meet strict deadlines.
Package Description
£24,285.21 per annum, plus LW £3,729.24 per annum.
Working Hours
37.50 hours (Regular Monday – Friday pattern)
