Apply today!Job DetailsThis role is in support of Cencora’s wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team for a Finance Business Partner – Operations. In this role you will be enhancing financial performance and decision-making within Warehouse Operations by providing strategic financial insights, support, and analysis.Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support Warehouse Operations, including monthly and annual performance reports.
• Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operations leadership to develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead the forecasting process for Warehouse Operations, incorporating input from various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Monitor in month performance to provide monthly close forecast.
• Monitor and analyse operational costs, identifying areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.
• Hold monthly business review meetings and drive accountability to enhance financial performance.
• Support the evaluation of capital expenditure (Capex) requests, ensuring financial viability and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Warehouse Operations management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Assist in the appraisal of new projects, initiatives, and procurement contracts, including lease versus buy analysis.
• Monitor the performance of projects and initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with Warehouse Operations teams to understand their financial needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fleet and FP&A, to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial reporting and budgeting practices.
• Implement best practices in financial management to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Warehouse Operations.

.This role requires excellent communication skills, working closely with the Senior Operations Teams and the wider Finance Team.Skills and experience:

• Qualified accountant with significant PQE (post qualification experience)
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within a warehouse or operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Able to deliver high quality outputs to tight deadlines
