As the Financial Analyst/ Senior Financial Analyst, Business Finance, Retail, you will support with providing strategic and innovative solutions to support the business in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives. With the skills you gain in this role, the opportunities are endless — from a rewarding career in Finance to continued growth and development with Aritzia.THE ROLEAs the Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst, Business Finance, Retail, you will:Plan and forecast retail expenses (inclusive of labour, travel and other expenses) in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategiesIdentify opportunities, assess financial impacts, and ensure optimal execution of retail expensesMonitor, evaluate and respond to key performance indicators that are relevant to retail expenses in partnership with retail leadersProvide Retail and Finance leadership with visibility into performance results with relevant and timely intelligence on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis where relevantBuild and manage the tools that provide visibility and transparency into financial and operational performanceSupport with the period close process and performance analysis for retail expensesSupport the Business Finance team and Retail Leadership Team with any ad hoc requests relevant to retail expenses, in addition to any stretch projects.THE QUALIFICATIONSThe Financial Analyst/ Senior Financial Analyst, Business Finance, Retail has:Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:Financial planning and analysisMicrosoft Office, including ExcelRetail finance experience is an assetA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessTHE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $75,000- $130,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.We are always looking for top talent.
