This US law firm is one of the world’s leading law firms, with a thriving finance team in London. The team is now seeking to recruit a knowledge lawyer to support them. This hire will be the team’s first knowledge lawyer – an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to have plenty of space to create and implement knowledge strategy.The team advise across leveraged finance, fund finance, project finance and private credit. This hire will not need experience in all of those areas but will need a significant amount of general banking and finance experience from another top international law firm. The role will involve the traditional elements of the knowledge role, such as supporting fee earner and clients with technical queries, precedent management, horizon scanning and creating knowledge products, but this role will require someone who is keen to be at the heart of building a new knowledge offering – there is lots of scope for creativity and responsibility.
