Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Salary: Up to £50,000 | Full-Time | Permanent | On-SiteHoop Professional Services & HR is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and well-established organisation based in Cardiff. Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Finance Manager to join their long-standing team on a permanent, full-time basis.This site-based role offers full exposure to the business, autonomy in your work, and the chance to make a real impact. You’ll be joining a supportive, high-performing team and will benefit from a competitive salary of up to £50,000, 30 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), which increases after 3 years of service, and study support if required.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their finance career within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Line management of two junior analysts
- Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts
- Liaising with key stakeholders and senior leadership
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and latest views
- Producing and analysing profit & loss accounts
- Leading monthly and quarterly review meetings
- Developing and presenting P&L packs
- Interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with other departments such as Marketing and HR
- Conducting variance analysis and providing actionable insights
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience within a finance department, including budget management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive, inquisitive approach with a solution-focused attitude
