This position may be based at any of our U.S. locations: Rochester, NH; Boerne, TX; or Salt Lake City, UT.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
The AEC Financial Analyst is the finance partner for the Segment (either Commercial or Defense) which supports programs in either Salt Lake City, Utah, Boerne, Texas and/or Queretaro, Mexico. This position will provide analysis of financial results across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements. Individual will work actively with Operations, Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts Teams, and Site General Managers to understand key drivers and metrics.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include:
Financial Analysis and Support
- Assist in the accurate and responsible computation of “EACs” (Estimate at Completion) for site programs, including reviewing contract values, basis of estimate, risks & opportunities, etc.
- Responsible for analysis and review of monthly results with site and program leadership. This includes labor, materials, and indirect expense analytics, headcount forecasting and other cyclical reporting
- Role will assist in the generating annual operations plan for current year and long range planning. This includes staffing planning, operating budgets, sales and cash forecasts, and others.
- Prepare monthly analysis vs. plan and forecast with summary reporting of variance drivers.
- Assist in the reporting and analysis of key metrics to site and program leadership including but not limited to; Utilization, Labor Efficiency, Direct Labor, Capital Expenditures, Scrap & Rework, Monthly Inventory, etc.
- Provide ad hoc assistance, analysis and reporting as required by management
Position Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong sense of commitment to meeting deadlines and self-management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
Additional Position Requirements (education, certifications, experience, physical)
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in account, finance or business
- 0 – 5 years of financial analyst experience
- Advanced degree or additional years of experience preferred
- SAP and/or government contracting experience is a plus but is not required for success in this position
Working Conditions
- Office environment. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental condition levels.
- Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations require. Some may be able to do part of their work remotely.
- Minimal travel on an as needed basis
Physical requirements
- Occasionally positions will require to move an office item >10 lbs.
- Frequently move about the production floor and office area to attend meetings or trainings
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
- Frequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc.
