- Tender Purpose:
The office of the Norwegian Refugee Council invites your company to apply for the RFQ – FINANCIAL AUDIT SERVICES
The objective of this financial audit is to ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA 805) and assess the financial management of the project funded by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). The selected independent auditor must verify:
- Financial Regularity & Reporting Accuracy – Ensure financial statements align with project budgets, contracts, and national laws.
- Internal Control System (ICS) Effectiveness – Assess internal controls, segregation of duties, and financial policies.
- Compliance with Project Objectives & Contract Conditions – Validate that financial transactions adhere to the project’s contractual and budgetary obligations.
- Efficient Use of Financial Resources – Evaluate cost-effectiveness, budget adherence, and risk management measures.
- Comprehensive Audit Reporting – Provide a detailed audit report, a management letter with recommendations, and responses to an audit questionnaire.
The auditor will conduct site visits, review financial and operational documents, and deliver a final audit report in English, signed by the audit team leader.
