Puyenpa Services, LLC is seeking a result-oriented and detail-driven Financial Business Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making efforts across the organization. This position combines core financial expertise with business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend strategic initiatives, and contribute to long-term growth. This is a full-time remote opportunity for someone preferably in the Eastern Time Zone.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, trends, and historical data to build predictive models and reports.
• Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather business and financial requirements.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks; make data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements using data insights.
• Support implementation of financial systems or tools; participate in user testing and training.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment of financial analysis with broader business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial or business analysis roles.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Strong track record of translating business needs into financial insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and present findings to leadership.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
• Understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and data analysis techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with project-based accounting or federal contracting is a plus.
• Experience supporting system or process improvement initiatives.
• Certifications such as CFP, CFA, CPA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
