As a Financing Partnerships Specialist, you will (i) be responsible for cofinancing data accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness; (ii) prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, data requests, and MIS reporting; (iii) promote broader understanding on system enhancements to increase work process digitization and streamlining; (iv) closely collaborate with ADB’s Data Management Sub-Committee; relevant internal departments, especially cofinancing data users, and ITD; vendors; peer organizations; and external financing partners; (v) supervise national staff.

Data Quality Management, Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare business processes for ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness of cofinancing data.
  • Undertake and lead the work on data’s accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness, and enhancing management information system reports.
  • Undertake and lead data analysis, presentation, and visualization for standardized reports reflecting the needs of the MIS report recipients.

Maintenance and Enhancement of Existing Systems and Databases:

  • Undertake and lead enhancements to existing systems and databases, including business process reengineering, and rollout to users, including training.
  • Develop and implement coordinated trust fund reports.

Knowledge Sharing and Communications:

  • Work proactively with stakeholder departments to enhance data quality at entry and processing.
  • Promote broader understanding on system enhancements to increase work process digitization and streamlining.
  • Closely collaborate with ADB’s Data Management Sub-Committee; relevant internal departments, especially cofinancing data users, and ITD; vendors; peer organizations; and external financing partners.

Staff Supervision:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and support to the local staff;
  • Supervise the performance of local staff, providing clear direction and regular monitoring and feedback on performance; and
  • Ensure on-going learning and development of local staff.

Qualifications:

You will need:

  • A University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Qualitative Analysis, Environment, IT or other related fields preferably at post-graduate level or its equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in cofinancing operations from multilateral development banks, bilateral agencies, or international financial institutions, or other related areas.
  • Strong background in development finance, with a focus on data quality, data reporting, trust fund processing, and IT system enhancement
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills in English is required
  • International experience working in development in several countries desirable
  • The assignment is based in Manila, Philippines with travel to field locations as the need arises
