Role: Fire Project ManagerLocation: EdinburghSalary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Car + BonusTechnical Resources are seeking an experienced Fire Project Manager to join an existing team. You will oversee a diverse range of projects across Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fire safety systems and a proven track record of managing both small and large-scale projects.Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of fire safety projects, ranging from small to large-scale, across Edinburgh.
- Oversee and coordinate direct labour and sub-contractors on-site.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly project update reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure project quality standards are consistently met and maintained.
- Monitor and control project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Take responsibility for the project’s Profit & Loss.
- Provide technical support to customers and engineers as needed.
- Conduct regular meetings with Site Supervisors to track progress and resolve issues.
- Attend and represent the company at client meetings, ensuring smooth communication and client satisfaction.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in managing large Fire Safety projects.
- Strong technical background in Fire Alarm, Fire Door, and Passive Fire systems.
- BAFE, FIA, and FIRAS certifications.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to manage teams and interact with clients effectively.
- SMSTS certification preferred.
- CSCS Black Card holder.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, able to resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present ideas clearly.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
