Located in Waco, Texas, TX
Salary: $20.00/hr
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive, family-oriented company in the fire protection industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing fire suppression systems and extinguishers in commercial kitchen settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and service kitchen fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure systems meet local safety codes and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of fire suppression systems as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients are informed about fire safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and technical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
