What You’ll Get to Do

The Fleet Manager is focused on scheduling trucks for delivery, supervising the fleet department, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

This role is perfect for an individual who is organized, a leader, and has customer management skills. A vital member of the Fleet team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Supervise drivers, and ensure drivers and vehicles remain in compliance with DOT regulations
• Conduct driver training and meetings as required
• Schedule the work effort of the company drivers
• Prepare daily delivery schedules and bill of ladings for drivers
• Inspect loads for load securement prior to dispatch

What We Are Looking For

• Two years managing DOT regulated drivers and scheduling transportation required
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work activities and deliveries required
• Strong organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, and stair climbing
• Frequent carrying, reaching, stooping, and walking
• Frequent repetitive use of wrist/hand/fingers, shoulder/elbows and hip/knee and ankles
• Lifting/pushing/Pulling
