2nd shift works Monday – Thursday 3 pm – 1 am.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep all machinists on task (train if necessary) and provide direction.
- Quality control / inspection – must follow ensure employees follow through on inspection of parts throughout the process
- Recommendations to Management regarding personnel decision including staffing, evaluations, discipline and compensation.
- Produces machining parts on intricate parts with knowledge of Machining centers and /or Turning centers.
- Ability to read routings, customer prints
Proficiency necessary:
- Must have proficient knowledge of machining – lathes and mills, cutting tools, measuring tools and gauging processes.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and planning skills
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of well rounded machining background
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift.
- Ability to work 1 Saturday per month.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week.
