Pay rate: $22/hr on w2 Without benefits.
Location: St. Augustine, FL 32095
Shift timings: Mon – Fri 8 AM – 1 PM
BG/DT required: Yes
Role & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and level of competency associated with a high school diploma.
• Skill in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Skill in oral and written communication.

Mandatory skills/certification(s) required:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and any other endorsements necessary to legally operate vehicles used while assigned to this position.
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills in order to serve others.
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
• Must be able to operate a computer.

Bonus skills that will make a resume stand out:

• Knowledge of autopsy and body processing knowledge.
• Forensic photography.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assists in filling out required paperwork during medicolegal death investigations.
• Assists during radiographic examinations of decedents.
• Daily set up of morgue/autopsy stations.
• Weigh decedents.
• Help in positioning bodies prior to and during forensic examinations.
• Stock autopsy stations between examinations.
• Cleans morgue facilities and instruments.
• Prepares and ships samples.
• Shelve bodies.
• Maintains proper chain of custody.
• Document logs on a daily basis.
• Inventories and documents personal effects.
• Release biohazardous waste to appropriate vendor.
