Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to be trained as a forklift driver, responsible for efficiently moving products around our production facility. You will be tasked with transporting glass products to various destinations, such as staging areas for production, storage areas, or loading/unloading for shipping purposes. Additionally, you will ensure that production lines have adequate supplies to maintain operations and perform tasks such as moving and emptying racks, loading and reloading packers, and wrapping or packaging products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move glass products around the production facility.
• Follow orders to pick up and transport products to designated locations.
• Ensure production lines have enough materials to maintain operations.
• Load and reload packers as needed.
• Get on and off the forklift to adjust and wrap/package products when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience – Preferred.
• Material Handling Experience – Preferred.
• Manufacturing Labor/Production Experience – Highly Preferred.
• Experience with RF scanner and shipping/receiving – Preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tipton, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 – $17.75/hr.
