Pay Rate: 23.02

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Drive and operate forklift, safely.

* Prior experience in loading and unloading of trailers.

* Must pass company written and practical forklift operator test.

* Ability to complete trailer inspections for outbound and inbound deliveries.

* Ability to verify and document incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy.

* Competency in operation of dock door controls, ramp, and safely secure trailers in docks with appropriate locks.

* Inspect and document arriving loads for seal integrity, possible contaminants, damage & temperature.

* Load & unload vans and flatbeds.

* Issue and return packaging & raw products to production while following FIFO rules.

* Use company trace and tracking forms & scanners to maintaining traceback of materials issued and returned.

* Able to work around equipment and machinery

* Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP’s related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)

* Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted up to of the workday, and 20 lbs overhead as job demands. Walking, standing on a concrete floor, reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements may be required.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

2nd Shift

Onsite no travel required

EXPERIENCE & education:

Highschool Diploma or Equivilent

PAY RATE: 23.02
