Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area. – Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas. – Perform routine pre and post-operational forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. – Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. – Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks. – Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including quantities, locations, and timestamps. – Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or production floor. – Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor. – Adhere to company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and safety. – Participate in training programs to stay updated on forklift operation best practices.
Qualifiations: – High school diploma or equivalent. – Valid forklift operator certification/license. – Proven
experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or production environment. – Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures. – Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of environments, including narrow aisles and tight spaces. – Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of forklift operation. – Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking. – Excellent communication and teamwork skills. – Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. – Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
