Title: Freight Broker Representative

Description:

• Identify transportation balance needs in order to keep fleets moving profitably.
• Manage multiple customer shipments simultaneously.
• Utilize online load boards to acquire head hauls and back hauls at good rates.
• Schedule all aspects of pick up/delivery with shipper, consignee and carrier.
• Effectively track shipment status through various methods (phone, online, e-mail, EDI to TMS, etc).
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or 2+ years of experience
• Logistics/Transportation exp preferred
• Microsoft skills – Excel
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
