Being a Front Desk Manager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites means:

  • Enforcing hotel policies and procedures in accordance with IHG guidelines
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations, ensuring service standards are met
  • Assisting and supporting the General Manager in developing strategies to meet IHG’s objectives and performance indicators
  • Participating in the hiring process, training new employees, work allocation, performance evaluations, and conflict management
  • Engaging and motivating the team in daily activities by fostering a positive work environment and good working relationships
  • Coordinating hotel maintenance and preventive maintenance in the absence of the General Manager
  • Participating in various committees such as the Continuous Improvement Committee and Health & Safety Committee
  • Managing room blocks and accounting for all deposits
  • Preparing and managing work schedules and administrative tasks in the Emprez software

Do you see yourself innovating and growing with us?Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the OPERA software (an asset)
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Holds a diploma in hospitality management
