Front Office Manager

At AC Hotels, connecting with our guests, catering to their “on-the-go” lifestyle and helping them feel the unique buzz of a new city depends upon a team of associates whose lifestyles and passions make them a great fit for the brand. We’re currently seeking a Front Office Manager.

position PURPOSE: Overseeing all Front Office Operations to insure profitability, control costs and quality standards to insure total guest satisfaction. Supervise front desk staff and assist with greeting guests, checking guests in and out, handling guest requests and complaints, and handling group check-ins.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assists with recruiting, selecting and retaining a quality front desk staff.

2. Completes training of front desk staff on hotel policies, practices, and procedures.

3. Responsible for reservations, registration and special arrangements for groups.

4. Processes daily and end-of-period reports. Reviews guest ledger and accounts receivable accounts daily for accuracy, proper authorization and proper identification. Processes payroll.

5. Assists with performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and discharge of front desk associates.

6. Performs all other related duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Previous front desk management experience required.

2. Good communication and math skills

3. Accurate typing skills; ability to use office and front desk equipment.

4. Supervisory and organizational skills.

5. Must have flexible work schedule and work as required.
