FS Technology Consulting – Technical Delivery Lead – Payments and Cards – Manager / Senior Manager – Dublin

We are actively recruiting high achieving individuals with customer and digital platforms experience with an expertise in multi-channel technology-enabled transformation projects/programmes within Financial Services.

By joining the Technology Consulting team, you will work in high-performing teams that deliver exceptional client service, enabling organizations to grow, innovate, protect, and optimise their business performance – playing your part in building a better working world.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead the technical delivery of payment/cards projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time with high quality standards.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, engineering and test leads to drive delivery.
- Ensure the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis and mapping stage
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plans and track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Oversee the development and testing of payment systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest payment industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 8+ years of strong experience in technical project management, with a focus on payment and/or cards systems
- Strong experience in stakeholder management
- Have knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) including Waterfall & Agile
- Have ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, payments architecture and industry regulations
- Good understanding of European payments schemes e.g. SEPA.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in delivering business value from technology as well as communicating the value to senior business stakeholders.
- Experience working in banks across multiple product domains. (e.g., Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with various project management tools and methodologies.
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
- Have a strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in IT or relevant field.
