PRIMARY PURPOSE
Temporary Seasonal Hires for all departmentsAssist Hannaford To Go Supervisor in leading the Hannaford to Go Team – Service in maintaining department
operations to meet financial and sales goals. Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong
culture in support of the Hannaford Strategy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the Hannaford To Go Department operations in accordance with established department
standard practices, in the absence of the Hannaford To Go Supervisor.
* Support excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in
customer service and sales building.
* Support that department conditions involving appearance, safety, sanitation, and food safety are
maintained at the highest level.
* Use good judgement in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for the efficient
performance of the department.
* Provide real time teaching on Shopping or Expediting process issues.
* Reports any issues or concerns relative to associate performance or behavior to the Assistant Store
Manager.
* Assist in training and developing associates to meet department needs.
* Maintain solid communication in the department and with store management.
* Observe and follow all company policies, established standard practices and legal requirements.
* Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
* Retail customer service experience preferred.
* Ability to lead and direct others.
* Understanding of store operations preferred.
* Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
* Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Must meet minimum age requirements.
Physical Requirements
* Perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
* Stand or walk 100% of the time.
* Continuous fine finger motions such as pinching, grasping when handling money.
* Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds
on occasion.
* Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion.
* Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, fresh
fruits, vegetables, house plants/flowers and household cleaners.
* Have sufficient visual acuity to read the HH unit display screen as well as check identification cards,
checks, invoices, and other written documents.
* Work in and out of inclement weather when necessary.
* Gather up to 5 shopping carts and push them to designated area.
* Ability to use computers, calculators and communication systems required to perform all job functions.
Salary range is between $ 17.60 – $26.20 Hrly
