Funded Traineeships for Young Graduates at the EU Delegation to Syria

Position description

Traineeships of up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information Section (PPI) section of the EU Delegation to Syria, starting in June & November 2025.

Main tasks: 

• Assisting the Political Officers in gathering and analysing information on specific topics
• Contributing to the drafting of Political reports
• Attending meetings and drafting reports on relevant topics
• Perform other tasks, as designated by the Head of Section

We look for:

Qualifications or special requirements:

• Taking into account the local health and security conditions, applicants currently residing in Lebanon will only be considered.
• University degree in either international relations, economic or political science
• Good knowledge of the regional politics, mainly the Syrian context
• Good analytical skills
• Fluency in English, Arabic is an asset
• Maximum one year of professional experience by the date of the start of the traineeship
