Job Description

position Summary: This position is responsible for general accounting, preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance department.

Primary responsibilities:

Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.

General ledger operations.

Prepare journal entries.

Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.

Assist with accounts receivables and accounts payable.

Assist in budgets and forecasts.

Account / Bank reconciliations.

Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.

Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

Maintain the Fixed Assets schedules and ledger entries

Perform other duties as assigned.

education and Training Requirements:

Position requires ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and 3-5 years experience in accounting required. Solid computer skills utilizing Microsoft office, particularly using Excel is required.
