General Manager

Overview: As the General Manager (GM), the incumbent will be considered an integrator- the one who turns vision into traction and strategy into measurable wins; to connect big-picture leadership goals with daily execution. The GM will own the rhythm of the business: the huddles, the follow-through, the accountability, and the energy that keeps the company moving forward. A successful candidate will have experience leading people, driving performance, and ensuring the business and systems hold strong under pressure, always producing consistent, reliable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Daily Huddles: Set tone, align expectations, and communicate daily focus.
  • Give clear daily rundowns of installs, sales goals, and company wins.
  • Rally the team: Energize and engage people toward measurable outcomes.
  • Keep a pulse on daily performance: installs, revenue, upcoming opportunities.
  • Enter each day with clarity of goals and outcomes – both short-term and strategic.
  • Oversee accountability of systems and processes (Dispatch, Sales, Install).
  • Inspect and verify jobs, data, and communication flows in real time.
  • Ensure issues and curveballs are identified early and resolved efficiently.
  • Manage daily logistics – know what’s on deck and what’s closing.
  • Serve as the go-to for escalations when dispatch or sales needs higher-level support.
  • Keep operational dashboards updated and reviewed regularly.
  • Recognize wins in the moment – celebrate small and large victories.
  • Coach on performance gaps immediately, whether sales or install related.
  • Maintain high standards – ensure the company standard is lived, not just stated.
  • Lead by presence and consistency, being accessible and responsive throughout the day.
  • Build and protect a winning, disciplined, and positive culture.
  • Partner with the Sales Director to ensure offers, pricing, and messaging align with execution.
  • Represent us in the community – Chamber events, business meetings, strategic networking.
  • Identify partnership or business development opportunities that strengthen our footprint.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a General Manager, Chief Operating Officer or related title
  • Bachelor’s in business management or related study, strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in leading and growing a company.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Good eyesight and hand/finger dexterity
  • Ability to handle some mental stress when dealing with upset customers.
  • May spend significant time doing computer work.
  • Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information either in person or on the phone.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Constantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Light work that includes lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly
  • Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, step stools, etc.
  • Occasionally work in noisy environments
  • Repetitive motion likely.

Salary: $100,000-130,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday

Job Classification: Full-time, salaried, exempt

Location: Grand Junction, CO (on-site)
