GIS Software Developer
Location: Remote

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Developer with a strong background in GIS Application development to join our growing team. This role will focus primarily on front-end design and development for GIS-based applications, while also offering opportunities to contribute to back-end integrations, Python development, and data ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end GIS applications and user interfaces.

• Collaborate with project teams to create intuitive and responsive web-based mapping solutions.

• Integrate GIS data and services into front-end applications.

• Work with APIs, mapping frameworks, and geospatial data visualization tools.

• Support back-end development efforts including Python scripting, integrations, and ETL workflows when needed.

• Participate in software testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

• Experience developing GIS or geospatial applications.

• Strong front-end development skills using modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies.

• Experience working with mapping libraries or GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or similar technologies.

• Understanding of responsive UI/UX design principles.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Vue development.

• Knowledge of system integrations and REST APIs.

• Experience building or supporting ETL/data processing workflows.

• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and deployment environments.
