GIS Software Implementation Consultant, Senior

Infor’s client-facing consultants specialize in enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and asset management solutions for public sector customers. The role leads spatial data strategy, ESRI integrations, and asset-centric process design across Infor implementations, guiding project teams from requirements through go-live and knowledge transfer.

A Day in the Life:

• Lead discovery workshops for GIS, linear asset, and work-management requirements.
• Design and configure ESRI integrations, map services, and spatial data models.
• Define asset hierarchies, preventive-maintenance strategies, and GIS-driven workflows.
• Oversee data migration/ETL for spatial and asset datasets; validate data quality.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects to align GIS architecture with cloud standards.
• Facilitate testing, end-user training, and cutover for GIS and asset components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Software consulting experience implementing GIS or asset management solutions.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS platform (map services, geodatabases, desktop & online).
• Experience designing or configuring enterprise asset-management processes (work orders, preventive maintenance, asset hierarchies).
• Experience working with clients to define geospatial requirements and implement solutions that align with business processes.
• Experience with workshop facilitation, solution documentation, and issue resolution in a client setting.
• Ability to travel up to 30 % within North America.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior consulting on public-sector projects (utilities, public works, transportation).
• Experience with Infor Public Sector, Infor EAM, or comparable asset suites.
• Experience integrating GIS with cloud ERP/CMMS environments.
• Certifications: ESRI Technical Certification, PMP, or Agile/Scrum credentials.
