Global Procurement Operations is responsible to standardize and automate global procurement processes on end-to-end basis in alignment with all relevant stakeholders. The main target is to deliver best-in-class solutions for procurement processes and tools in Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay using the Coupa Software Platform. 

Ultimately, the Coupa Software Platform will be stepwise rolled out globally. The supplier adoption rate has to be increased to ensure automation and standardization. Collaboration with all Munich Re suppliers through the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) is a critical success factor. 

For our global team we are seeking for a “Process Manager Supplier Information (SIM) Management”. This important role operates with all internal stakeholders, existing and future suppliers globally. 

Your job is to manage all Coupa supplier enablement activities for all regions where Coupa is rolled-out, ensure high quality master data (SIM) and pro-actively manage changes and updates to supplier data in the Coupa platform. This role also drives process improvements within Procure-to-Pay globally in close collaboration with other CP functions and accounts payable. 

Your Job

  • Implement Global Supplier Enablement, Supplier Onboarding and Supplier Information Management strategy jointly with CP, General Accounting and other stakeholders 
  • Support Supplier Enablement and Supplier Onboarding initiatives within regional rollout waves 
  • Pro-Actively support customers and suppliers to simplify and increase supplier adoption and user experience in SIM 
  • Train suppliers on processes for purchase orders, contracts, receipts, catalogue updates and invoicing – communicate process changes and updates in CSP
  • Identify and report opportunities and process weaknesses and implement improvements jointly with the P2P community 
  • Maintain global Supplier Master Data in Coupa and ensure high quality and up-to-date data in Coupa SIM
  • Review and approve requests for new supplier creations in line with relevant sourcing strategies and in collaboration with category management 
  • Conduct various legal compliance checks on suppliers, e.g. sanction check, financial stability check, ESG etc. 
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Third Party Risk Management for SIM processes

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Economics / Business Administration or similar
  • Strong experience with digital supplier portal solutions and process mining – Coupa and Celonis experience a plus
  • Ability to solve complex challenges, curiosity to explore new solutions outside of traditional approaches
  • Sound knowledge of procurement and general accounting processes 
  • Proven project experience from design to implementation 
  • Ability to execute with minimal guidance and strong initiative
  • Ability to recommend and support delivery when technical solutions meet business objectives
  • Very high level of customer focus 
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English
  • Willingness to travel and/or work virtually across multiple time zones
