You will also get a chance to work alongside highly experienced engineers and technicians.Our products do many things including saving people’s lives by finding and treating cancer, helping map our planet and the universe and freezing the atom down to 0° Kelvin.With a long and enviable history of technical and scientific innovation, Teledyne e2v is always working at the forefront of technology.Position Summary and Responsibilities:Job Purpose:The Operator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of deliveries on to the company ERP system (SAP), including loading and underloading of vehicles, checking condition of deliveries and checking the delivery note matches what has been delivered. The individual will report to the respective Team leader.Key responsibilities:Have a positive Health and Safety mindset and be quality driven.Working as part of a team but also autonomously. Being capable of managing your own time and workload efficiently. Being capable of multitasking in a complex environment.Communicate relevant information to the Team Leader, the manager, procurement, and supply chain where appropriate, identifying constraints and other issues to be addressed.Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Able to complete various manual handling tasks.Ensure that goods are booked in, in a timely manner.Using our SAP system to conduct various transactions as part of the Goods In process.Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the work instructions, and in line with Health and Safety InstructionsProblem solving and escalating as and when requiredSkills & Experience:Full Training is providedBasic level of competence when using computers.Effective communicationOrganisational mindsetAttention to detail and quality of work.Experience with SAP (ERP), or equivalent, would be an advantage but training will be provided.Competent using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, would be an advantage.Fork Truck trained (training will be provided)Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
