  • Hold (or be on track to achieve) a 1st or 2:1 degree in a relevant subject from a Russell Group or top 30 University
  • Consistently strong academic history, including solid GCSE and A-Level results (English, Maths, and Science GCSEs are essential)
  • Have a genuine ambition to pursue a long-term career in education, ideally progressing into teacher training
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrive in a busy school setting, showing adaptability, initiative, and resilience

Graduate Teaching Assistant: Role ResponsibilitiesDuring you time as Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be required to:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of dynamic and inclusive lessons across a range of subjects
  • Provide in-class assistance to pupils, including those with SEND or those who require stretch and challenge
  • Lead focused intervention sessions in small groups or 1:1 setting to reinforce key concepts and boost pupil progress
  • Support behaviour management strategies to ensure a focused and respectful classroom culture
