Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary)Location: South Shields, NewcastleSalary: £75 – £100 per dayContract: Full Time/Part TimeStart: September term of 2024Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in the education sector?GSL Education Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Shields. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a primary school setting, supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential.Job Summary:The Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to provide support across various subjects. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, working with small groups or one-on-one with students, and helping to manage classroom behaviour.Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary) Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
• Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers with administrative tasks and classroom organization.
• Participate in school activities and events as required.

Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary) Qualifications:

• A degree in any discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
