What we are looking for
NRC is looking for a Grants and Fundraising Manager to join the Bangladesh mission. The role holder will be responsible for the fundraising strategy; achievement of quality service delivery; ensuring that the project cycle management is in accordance with controls and policies; donor compliance, programme reporting, proposal development, and the management of sub-awards and partnerships; relationships with partners, donors, and potential donors; and representing NRC Bangladesh in coordination mechanisms and forums.

What you will do
- Strategic Fundraising & Donor Engagement (mapping donor policies; identifying new fundraising opportunities; developing innovative funding models; and maintaining strong relationships with strategic funding partners).
- Partnerships (ensure donor requirements are reflected in the Project Implementation Agreements and that they are in line with donor requirements/procedures; and developing partnership and localisation approaches and strategies).
- Consortia (strategic engagement in consortia, including the development and strengthening of consortium ways of working and funding horizon scanning).
- Risk Management (partnership due diligence processes; reviewing of donor contracts; provision of technical support; and training and capacity building on donor compliance).
- Coordination & Representation (networking, information gathering, and context analysis that contributes to strategic and informed decisions regarding fundraising and partnerships; and engaging in grants and partnerships initiatives).
- Proposal Development a& Reporting (developing concept notes, proposals, donor agreements, and donor reports; ensuring consistency between budget and other proposal documents, as well as compatibility with donor compliance requirements).
- Project Cycle Management (management of the project cycle, including grants opening, closure and review meetings).
- Leadership (line management of the grants and liaison team, ensuring maintenance of high quality and accurate information management systems).
What you will bring
- Donor relations and grants management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Institutional humanitarian and development donors’ exposure.
- Donor and partner rules, regulations, priorities and compliance requirements understanding.
- Report and proposal development track record.
- Bangladesh context and the Bangladesh humanitarian response experience and knowledge.
- Complex, and volatile context exposure, with experience working with displacement-affected people.
- English fluency, both written and verbal.
