About the job Green Logistics CoordinatorJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and environmentally conscious Green Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing sustainable logistics practices across our organization, with the goal of reducing our environmental footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices.Key Responsibilities:– Develop and implement sustainable logistics strategies to reduce carbon emissions, waste, and energy consumption– Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement green logistics initiatives– Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers and carriers, to promote sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact– Analyze data and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement– Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate green logistics performance to stakeholders– Identify and pursue opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth through sustainable logistics practices– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in green logistics and sustainabilityRequirements:– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or related field– 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or sustainability– Strong knowledge of sustainable logistics practices and environmental regulations– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills– Strong communication and collaboration skills– Ability to work independently and as part of a team– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
